Eitan Agor

Eitan is an Israeli sculptor from Ein Yahav, a cooperative agricultural community located in the Southern Arava Desert of Israel. He derives inspiration from his surroundings, science, and artists. Marveling at the physical properties of the world, seeking to understand it, and looking to the artists who depict the human experience of being in it, all become one in his works. He seeks an approach similar to those sought by Menashe Kadishman and David Smith. Like Moshav Ein Yahav in the desert, Eitan makes something from nothing every time, using only found materials left over by local farmers and workshops to create his sculptures.
