Photographer & Artist
Agor was born in post war East Berlin and raised in Warsaw, Poland. At the age of nine Agor moved to Israel with his artist parents Yaacov (Photgrapher) and Helena (Dancer). His teenage years were mainly spent windsurfing off the beach of Bat-Yam, Israel. He would often join his father in photographing the Ha'Bima Theater plays and rehearsals in Tel-Aviv for the Ha-Aretz and Olam Ha-Ze news papers. In the dark setting of the theater is where Agor developed his unique style and attitude toward light and moments. His early 20's were spent in London photographing the fashion runways for the Avant Garde Magazine, and greats such as Eric Clapton and John Lenon. His unique style of photography was later met with paint on canvas when he would enlarge his black and white photos on to canvas and paint over them.
